Oahu, Hawaii. Aloha and Welcome to your source for Hawaii real estate information.  This website is a great resource in searching for single family homes, townhomes, and condo listings for sale on Oahu.  Also, it will give you an idea of price ranges for various areas on Oahu such as: Kahala, Hawaii Kai, Waikiki, Kailua, Kaneohe, Mililani, North Shore, Kapolei, Makakilo, etc.  In this website, you will also find useful information such as online resources for buyers and sellers.  If you are a buyer, the loan calculator is also provided for your convenience.

O'ahu:
The island of Oahu is the third largest island of all eight islands at 604 square miles.  Oahu is nicknamed "The Gathering Place."  This island is the most populous and home to about 1.3 miilion people.   Some of the major cities of Oahu may sound very familiar to you from t.v. shows, movies and commercials such as Honolulu, Waikiki Beach, Pearl Harbor and the famous North Shore.    Waikiki is the top visitor destination and the main hotel zone on the island measuring about two square miles of Oahu.

The central area of Honolulu is surrounded by a plethora of neighborhoods which include quiet suburbs of Hawaii Kai to the old Hawaiian style neighborhoods like Manoa where you will find some historic homes.  Diamond Head and Kahala is where you will find some old-style kamaaina homes.

The windward side (cities of Kailua and Kaneohe) is on the opposite side of the island from Waikiki.  This area is one of the coolest spots on the island.  Trade winds blow cooling breezes over the gorgeous beaches, rainfalls fall from the beautiful and lush Ko'olau mountain range with tropical vegetation.  Kailua beach is known to be Oahu's best beach.  It is a favorite amongst windsurfers and kitesurfers - great to watch during the strong, windy days.

The Leeward area of Oahu is located on the west side of the island.  A new "second city" of Kapolei is gradually attracting new jobs and opportunities as more housing developments are being developed around the city.  Some city and state government offices have already moved to Kapolei.  Many homes on the west are generally newer construction with larger living areas and also affordable in comparison to Honolulu and the windward side.

Central Oahu is another cool and breezy spot on the island.  It includes neighborhoods such as Mililani, Mililani Mauka and Wahiawa.  The Mililani area is a true bedroom community.  This area is a planned development consisting of six (soon to be seven) recreation centers that include pools, basketball/tennis courts, party rooms for rent, etc.  There are also parks throughout Mililani where you will see baseball games, soccer games, etc. when you are passing through during afternoons and weekends.  The Mililani Town Association which manages the entire community to maintain the aesthetics and compliance of association rules, implement classes throughout the year for various ages from toddlers to senior citizens.  This community is growing to be one of the highly desirable neighborhoods due to its well-ranked public school system.
